Cardi B and Offset welcome their third baby together just weeks after filing for divorce

Cardi B has welcomed a beautiful baby girl!

The singer took to Instagram to share a carousel of images from the hospital, showing her and her family all snuggled up to the newborn.

"The prettiest lil thing 🌸🌸 9/7/24 💖💖💖," she captioned the post.

The first image showed Cardi smiling from her hospital bed in a colourful robe while cradling her baby girl in her arms.

She also included images of her estranged husband and father to her three children, Offset, snuggled up to the baby, as well as a few sweet videos.

Cardi and Offset already share two children, son Wave, three, and daughter Kulture, six, both of whom were pictured in the hospital with their new baby sister.

Back in December, 2023, the I Like It singer announced she and Offset were parting ways, sharing the news on an Instagram live.

"I've been single for a minute now, but I have been afraid to, like… not afraid, I just don't know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been a sign," she said.

Then, in August, it was confirmed that Cardi had filed for divorce, with representatives for the singer confirming the news to People and denying that the split had anything to do with the rumours that Offset had cheated.

The next day, Cardi announced via Instagram that the former couple were also expecting their third child.

"With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power," she captioned the post debuting her baby bump.

"You've reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!"

Cardi continued, "It's so much easier taking life's twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it's worth it to push through!"
