Cardi B shares first photo of baby Kulture and it's adorable

Cardi B has taken to Instagram to share the first picture of her bub, the same day that she used the platform to announce her split from husband, Offset.

Having previously been super protective of the 4-month-old and her exposure to the spotlight, the chart topping artist has finally allowed fans to have a glimpse of her baby girl, Kulture.

The candid shot shows Kulture in her car seat, perfectly accessorised with a sequin bow and personalised bib – captioned “My heart”.

Up until now, Cardi has completely hidden Kulture from the world telling ET she’s scared of sharing because “there are so many mean people out there”.

She allegedly even refused a “seven figure” payout for pictures of the baby girl.

In October, she said she was “not mentally ready” to have her daughter out there in the world, while on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

It would not be the first time a celebrity baby was criticised through social media, with Khloe Kardashian’s daughter, True, recently being subjected to online racial abuse.

Cardi B also expressed to Kimmel show her desire for normality with her daughter but the limits due to her high profile.

“I want to take a stroll down the street with my baby, and I can’t, because I don’t know who’s next to me, or who has certain intentions.”

There have been a few sneak peaks of Kulture through Instagram pictures since her birth in July – a tiny hand, a bit of a forehead – but this is the first time the public has got a full picture of the beautiful girl.  

The picture comes following the announcement of a split between Cardi B and her husband (and Kulture’s dad) Offset.

Cardi announced the split after a year of marriage saying “things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.”

“I’m always gonna have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father” she said.
