Cameron Boyce's father has released one of the last photos taken of the Disney star before his tragic death.

"My son," Victor Boyce captioned the photo, which he shared on Instagram on Thursday, July 20. "Just hours before he was snatched from our lives. I miss him terribly. I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I'm feeling but no one is immune to tragedy.

Cameron died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 7. In a statement released to E! News earlier this week, his family confirmed Cameron died from a seizure caused by his epilepsy.

"Cameron's tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy," the statement read. "We are still trying to navigate our way through this extremely heart-wrenching time, and continue to ask for privacy so that the family, and all who knew and loved him can grieve his loss and make arrangements for his funeral — which in and of itself, is agonising."

Two days after his son's death, Victor tweeted his gratitude for the ongoing support.

"I'm overwhelmed with the love and support our family has received," he wrote. "It really does help to ease the pain of this nightmare I can't wake up from. I can't thank you guys enough."
