Brooklyn Beckham has broken his silence with a powerful statement online over the years-long feud with his family.

The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham has addressed the speculation of a rift between him and his parents with a scathing statement revealing more details about why he is estranged from them.

"I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private," he started the bombshell six-page statement.

"Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed," the 26-year-old continued.

"I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life.

"For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.

"Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out."

The aspiring chef claimed that his mum "cancelled making Nicola's dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design."

At the time there were rumblings about drama over a dress, but the claim from Brooklyn is new information.

Brooklyn also claimed that he was told by members of his family that Nicola was "not blood" and "not family" in the lead up to their wedding.

He believes that by standing up for himself, it opened him up to "endless attacks" from his parents both privately and publicly, dragging his brothers into it too.

Sharing more details about their wedding, Brooklyn claimed that Victoria "hijacked" his first dance with Nicola, which was one of the reasons why they renewed their vows.

"We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment," he wrote.

It was clear something was going on between Brooklyn and his famous parents when he and Nicola skipped out on David's milestone 50th celebrations last May.

But the 26-year-old claimed that he and Nicola had travelled to the UK and were "rejected" for a week as they tried to plan quality time with his dad, "unless it was at his big party."

Brooklyn alleged that when David agreed to see him, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn't invited.

"The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards," he continued.

He alleged that he has been "controlled by my parents for most of my life" but stepping away from them has made his anxiety disappear.

"I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief," he continued.

"My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press or manipulation. All we want peace privacy and happiness for us and our future family."

The bombshell statement has blown their feud wide open and David, Victoria and Brooklyn's brothers are yet to comment.
