It certainly looked like a game, set and love match between Russell Crowe and his rumoured new girlfriend, Britney Theriot.

In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the couple put on a flirty display recently as they played a game of tennis in the Sydney suburb of Rushcutters Bay, even sharing a quick kiss following the match.

This appears to be the first time Crowe, 56, has been seen in public following his 2012 split from Aussie actress and singer Danielle Spencer — the mother of his two children, Tennyson, 14, and Charles, 16.

As for Theriot, little is known about the budding actress, but here is what we know so far…

Britney Theriot is American and was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she still lives. 

Theriot is a real estate agent, who in 2017 began working at Louisiana real estate company Mirambell Realty. 

"Welcome to Mirambell Realty, we are excited to partner with you and reach new heights in your career. Welcome Britney!" an announcement on the company's website read at the time. 

It's unknown if Theriot still works at the agency. With one credit on IMDb, it appears Theriot may have acting aspirations.

Britney Theriot is reportedly 30 years old, making her 26 years younger than Crowe. 

How did Russell Crowe and Britney Theriot meet?

It appears the couple may have met on the set of a movie seven years ago.

Theriot has a singular credit on her IMDb page after appearing in the 2013 film, Broken City, which also stars Crowe.

The up-and-coming actress played Valerie, opposite Crowe's corrupt character, Mayor Nicholas Hostetler. The crime drama also starred Catherine Zeta-Jones as Crowe's cheating wife and Mark Wahlberg as an ex-cop hellbent on getting revenge on Mayor Hostetler.
