Britney Spears takes aim at her family following father's removal as conservator

Britney Spears has taken aim at her family in an Instagram post following her father's removal as conservator.

Sharing an image of two women underwater, the singer, 39, writes the picture is "everything to me" before adding that it makes her want to cry".

The image shows a female figure lying on a mattress and a "divine feminine sister" swimming to save the figure, though this likely isn't a reference to her sister Jamie Lynn, who Spears is estranged from over the conservatorship she's been in for 13 years.

"I suggest if you have a friend that's been in a house that feels really small for four months … no car … no phone … no door for privacy and they have to work around 10 hours a day 7 days a week and give tons of blood weekly with never a day off … I strongly suggest you go pick up your friend and get them the hell outta there !!!!!" the pop star writes.

"If you're like my family who says things like 'sorry, you're in a conservatorship' … probably thinking you're different so they can f--k with you !!!!"

Spears ends the post by thanking her attorney Mathew Rosengart, whom she credits with having "helped change my life".

Earlier this week, she thanked the #FreeBritney movement for helping to remove her father from her 13-year conservatorship.

In a Twitter post on Monday, Spears addressed her fans directly, writing: "#FreeBritney movement… I have no words… because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship… my life is now in that direction !!!!!"

Spears also revealed their support had struck a chord with her emotionally, writing, "I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it."

On September 29, the singer had a large victory in her conservatorship case when her father, Jamie Spears, was suspended as the conservator of her estate, effective immediately.

"I believe that the suspension is in the best interests of the conservatee," Judge Brenda Penny said in her decision. "The current situation is untenable."

A hearing has been set for November 12 to determine if the arrangement will be terminated entirely. During the September 29 hearing, Spears' lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, argued that it was clearly time to remove Jamie Spears from his daughter's conservatorship.

"It's about what Britney wants. She wants him out of her life today," Rosengart said. "Britney Spears deserves to wake up tomorrow without her father as her conservator."

In July, Spears appeared to throw another punch at her sister Jamie Lynn, writing on Instagram, "May the Lord wrap your mean a-- up in joy today," Spears captioned a video of her dancing. Watch above!

It came after Jamie-Lynn shared some photos of her posing in a red dress with the caption, "May the peace of the Lord be with you, and your spirit ✌🏻❤️."

She has since deleted the caption and turned off her comments.

In an earlier post, Spears slammed the "so-called support system" she's had over the course of her 13-year conservatorship.

"I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes !!!!! My so-called support system hurt me deeply!!!!" she wrote.

The footage of the performance Spears referenced resurfaced online, with many fans noticing how visibly uncomfortable she was while watching her sister on stage.

In a separate post over the weekend, the singer wrote, "There's nothing worse than when the people closest to you who never showed up for you post things in regard to your situation whatever it may be and speak righteously for support."
