Britney Spears' father Jamie Spears has reportedly spent millions of her money on his own defense against her, according to claims made by Britney's conservator Jodi Montgomery.

Jamie Spears is the conservator of Britney's estate and finances, while Jodi Montgomery is the conservator of Britney's person.

The duo have been warring since Britney's 24-minute bombshell testimony on June 23, with Jamie earlier this week blaming Montgomery for the abuse and suffering Britney testified to experiencing throughout her restrictive 13-year conservatorship.

On Wednesday, Jamie filed court documents that said he was concerned Montgomery "does not reflect Ms Spears' wishes" as she handles Britney's daily "personal care and medical treatment."

In her June 23 testimony, Spears said, among other distressing claims, that she was forced to take lithium, work and be on invasive birth control, all against her will.

Montgomery, however, responded to Jamie's claims in court documents filed on Friday.

Per People, Montgomery said in the documents: "It is ironic that Mr Spears now wants the conservatorship to 'reflect her wishes,' since it is no secret that Ms Spears has wished her father out of her life for years."

In a separate statement, Montgomery alleged that Jamie's control over Britney's finances means that he does influence decisions about her personal care, as he can approve or deny any requested expenses.

Jamie was also accused by Montgomery of using over US$2 million (approx. $2.7 million) of Britney's money for his own legal defense, which aims to allow him to maintain control over Britney's estate, People reported. Jamie has reportedly not responded to the publication's request for a comment.

Earlier this week, Montgomery requested for Britney's estate to pay for 24/7 security at Montgomery's home, due to the fact that she said she has been receiving death threats since Britney's June 23 hearing.

Although Britney's court-appointed attorney Sam Ingham has resigned from his position, as did her manager of 25 years Larry Rudolph recently, Montgomery has said through a spokesperson that she has no intentions of resigning from her role.

"Ms Spears as recently as yesterday has asked Ms. Montgomery to continue to serve. Ms Montgomery will continue to serve as a conservator for as long as Ms Spears and the Court desire her to do so," Montgomery's lawyer told People on Tuesday.

A new court hearing is scheduled for July 14 to discuss multiple issues with Britney's conservatorship.
