Braith Anasta: Jodi's engagement ring was 'a bad investment', new love 'looks good for 30'

During an appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on March 30, the ex-rugby player opened up about his girlfriend Rachael Lee and his divorce from Jodi Anasta.

First up: his love of one year's upcoming 30^th birthday.

"How much would you spend on her?" asked Jackie O.

"A few thousand," Braith replied straight away.

"How old is she?" asked Kyle Sandilands. "30? Geez, she looks good for 30."

To which 35-year-old Braith answered, "Yeah, she does actually."

The controversial talk show hosts then began prodding Braith to get the Bondi-based personal trainer and mum-of-one an engagement ring as a birthday gift.

"Please don't say that," the ex-Bulldogs and Roosters captain said. "I'm sweating already."

And although he says his 2015 divorce to Jodi, 32, is "all done" and finalised, he won't be repurposing her engagement ring for Rachael (obviously).

"Did you get the ring back?" asked Kyle.

"No way!" replied Braith. "I wish. That was a bad investment."

After confirming that the Neighbours actress' giant pear-shaped diamond ring was "expensive", Braith went on to say the mother of his three-year-old daughter Aleeia might have sold it.

"She probably hocked it," he said. " She's probably bought a few bags with it, handbags."

Braith and Jodi announced the end of their three-year marriage in December 2015. Braith was first spotted out with Rachael the following April.
