Bow Wow shares rare snap with daughter Shai as she turns 13

Bow Wow is celebrating a milestone occasion for his family this week – his eldest child Shai is now a teenager.

The actor and rapper, 37, marked the occasion by sharing a snap of the pair together as they went out for her birthday at Nobu.

As his daughter turned 13, he wrote: "Started as a teen now I have one."

He added: "Happy birthday #girldad #thebig13."

One fan commented underneath: "Y'all know we getting old when Bow Wow's child is a teen now. Hbd!"

"I feel old because I been watching you since I was a kid," another added.

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Gregory Moss, shares Shai with ex Joie Chavis.

He is also father to son Stone, three, who he shares with model ex Olivia Sky.

Before Stone's birth, fans speculated the actor had a new baby on the way after rapping about how his family is growing in his song 'D.W.M.O.D'.

"Shai asking about a brother, I don't know what to say," Moss rapped in the song. "That's gone be one of them talks we have face-to-face. I'm looking in his eyes, I'm trying to see me in him. I'm peeping out his swag, and I see the resemblance."

Bow Wow first got his start with the stage name, Lil' Bow Wow.

He was first discovered by Snoop Dogg at the age of six.

He has starred in movies such as the basketball film Like Mike and Fast and Furious, and has released songs including Like You and Let Me Hold You.
