Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright has reflected on her role in the hit film franchise, having played the role of Ginny Weasley in the films.

The star, 33, praised the Harry Potter fanbase, that she says is ever-growing, and said her and her co-stars were always taken aback at the premieres of the film when they could see just how much the films meant to so many people.

"I just feel so grateful that I was able to play Ginny for those 10 years and do my part in her character and hold her for those 10 years," Wright told People, with the first Harry Potter film coming out back in 2001.

She said she sees young fans who weren't even born when the first film came out and said it's an incredible feeling.

"It still is a pinch-me moment every time I think about it," she said.

The actress added that her and her young co-stars were in a "protective bubble" on set so would be blown away by the fandom at Harry Potter premieres.
