“Bonnie is no longer in a coma, but remains seriously ill,” a rep for the singer told The Sun.

“Although her condition is improving, the recovery process is slow.”

According to the publication, doctors expect her to make a full recovery, but she remains in serious condition right now.

Tyler’s health issues started in April when she first arrived in Portugal.

The singer began to experience “intense abdominal pain shortly after arriving in Portugal, where she has a second home, following inconclusive tests in London,” according to The Sun.

She was rushed to the hospital with a serious tear in her bowel and had to undergo emergency surgery.

At first, it seemed like the surgery went well, with a statement confirming that she had undergone emergency surgery in Portugal – where she has a home.

Then, in May she was placed into an induced coma due to complications from the surgery.

“Bonnie has been put into an induced coma by her Doctors to aid her recovery. We know that you all wish her well and ask for privacy at this difficult time, please,” a statement from Tyler’s manager read at the time.

Portuguese media claimed Tyler went into cardiac arrest when doctors first tried to bring her out of the coma weeks ago.

The singer reportedly suffered a serious infection after the operation.

All of Tyler’s planned concerts until the end of August have been cancelled.

Her management released a statement thanking fans for their support.
