Ben Affleck and ex-girlfriend Ana de Armas still talk 'several times a day' despite breakup

It seems Ben Affleck and actress Ana de Armas are still in touch despite their recent breakup.

According to Page Six, the exes have not cut ties completely after ending their year-long relationship last week. 

"They still love each other. Ben misses her," said the source, adding that the pair still talk "several times a day".

The outlet reported that the split was mutual with Affleck, 48, and Knives Out star Armas, 32, agreeing they were in different life stages. 

"[He] would not commit to having more kids. She is in her 30s. It was a deal-breaker," said the source. "[But] people who know them believe it's temporary."

The actor shares three children — daughters Violet, 14, and Seraphina, 11 and son Samuel, 8 — with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

It's believed Cuban actress Armas had moved into Affleck's Brentwood home back in December after placing her Venice, California, home on the market.

"He makes her laugh and she's a great influence," a friend told People magazine at the time of the pair, who first met on the 2019 set of Deep Water, which will be released later this year.

One person who is still holding out for a reunion is Affleck's younger brother, Casey Affleck. 

"The reality is, I think that this year has been really hard on people in relationships ... I think that Ana is just the sweetest, funniest, smartest, most charming person," he told Entertainment Tonight. "I think she won't have any problems meeting somebody else. And I'll be there to carry Ben through it, but I don't think he'll have any problems. 

"My advice to them would be like, 'Yes, think long and hard about [the decision to break up], because quarantine is not fun if you're single.'"
