'Avengers: Endgame' co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson playfully insult each other on radio

(CNN) -- Scarlett Johansson says Chris Hemsworth is ugly and he suggests she's not so smart.

Those were a few of the burns the Avengers: Endgame stars threw at each other in a tongue-in-cheek BBC Radio 1 game called 'Playground Insults,' where the point was to see which participant could make the other laugh first.

"You've got a growing collection of of grandma cardigans," Johansson said to Hemsworth, who was wearing one in the video. "And I've been meaning to talk to you about it. Like, it's cray. It's like basically you're a walking Ann Taylor ad. It's crazy."

Ouch! Luckily, Hemsworth found it hilarious and burst out laughing.

Hemsworth hit right back by joking, "You're lucky you're beautiful, because there's nothing up here," while pointing to his head.

He wasn't done, later making a jab at Johansson's hard-to-spell surname.

"Can you spell your name? Because no one else can," he quipped.

"That cut deep!" the actress replied, before telling him his biceps "look like Thanksgiving turkeys."

The two volley back and forth several minutes before they realise it's practically impossible to criticise perfection.

"No, they look great, Chris," Johansson said of his biceps. "I love them, I'm sorry. I love your biceps. I don't like your sweater but I love your biceps."
