Internet star-turned-actress Celeste Barber has thrown her support behind our Matildas after attending the nail-biter clash against France on Saturday.

The comedian, 41, shared a carousel of photos and videos from the World Cup match on Instagram, including a surprise selfie with an unlikely spectator – the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

"I AM SPORT!" Barber captioned her patriotic Instagram snaps, which included a photo with Albo and Sports Minister Annika Wells.

She must have had the best seat in the house at Lang Park as Barber also managed to snag a photo with Socceroos star Tim Cahill during the game.
