Ariana Grande breaks silence following split from Pete Davidson

Ariana Grande has remained quiet since her split from Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson.

But in an Instagram Story she shared on Tuesday, the 25-year-old singer spoke about her recent "anxiety".

"Can't believe i almost let my anxiety ruin this for me today !!! not today satan ! not tomorrow or the next day either," she captioned the photo. "not no more u can suck my big green d--- 💚 finna sing my heart out and be a big walking vessel of love bye."

According to TMZ, the breakup -- which is believed to have occurred some time after Davidson's SNL taping on Saturday night -- was amicable.

Both Grande and Davidson realised the timing wasn't right for either of them, and a source told People that the whirlwind romance and engagement was "way too much too soon."

TMZ reports that Grande has already returned the engagement ring Davidson gifted her in June.

The diamond ring that the 24-year-old comedian proposed with was custom-made by a New York jeweller and proposed with (approx. $130,000).

The 'God is a Woman' singer has reportedly kept the teacup pig that the couple adopted last month.

Despite Davidson getting a tattoo of Piggy Smallz on his torso, Grande was the one who initially purchased her, says TMZ.

Davidson and Grande got together in May 2018, shortly after Grande split with Mac Miller.

She dated Miller for almost two years, and was reportedly devastated after his death on September 8.

"It's true that Ariana has been struggling a bit with life in general," a source told People this week. "[Miller's death] was devastating and shocking to her. It's had a huge, negative impact on her life. It made her rethink many things in her life."
