'Sorry can you say that one more time': The Wiggles' John Pearce responds to colourful nickname
John Pearce may be the Purple Wiggle to Australia's families, but on TikTok he's known as something entirely different.
They call him the "Sexy Wiggle".
And now he's responded to his colourful nickname.

"Sorry can you say that one more time," Pearce joked to 9Honey Celebrity after hearing his nickname on the 2023 ARIA Awards red carpet.
"I think the mums have been tuning in since 1991, since The Wiggles have been around," he said.
"It's part of the Wiggly culture. It's a whole family."

But fellow band member Simon Pryce wasn't letting Pearce off easy with that response.
"John, they didn't take their shirts off like you do," Pryce chimed in.
Pearce cheekily responded to the quip with, "I don't know."
He says he does have one trait that may give people "the ick".
"Well I do this in every photo," Pearce said, showing off the signature Wiggle finger guns.
Bandmate Caterina Mete gave her own two cents on the star's possible "ick factor", suggesting it could be that he hogs the mirror.

The group was nominated for the Best Children's Album alongside former band member Emma Watkins, now known as Emma Memma, who went on to win the award.
Ahead of the show, the band shared how they felt to be nominated side by side with Watkins, confirming there is absolutely "no rivalry at all".
"We're just happy for any children's group [to be nominated]," says Pryce,
The Red Wiggle added that the Best Children's Album category at the ARIAs was the "real thrill" for the band.
Pearce and Jessie Adamo Pearce have been married since 2019, with the couple having started dating in 2012.
