Anna Faris reacts to her ex-husband Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s engagement

Anna Faris has spoken out about the engagement of her ex-husband Chris Pratt and his fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger.

The happy couple announced the news yesterday, when Pratt, 39, gushed about his "Sweet Katherine", 29, in a sweet Instagram post.

"I'm so happy for you both!! Congratulations!" 42-year-old Faris commented on the photo.

The news comes just three months after Faris and Pratt finalised their divorce, after splitting in August 2017 following nine years of marriage. They share a son together, 6-year-old Jack.

But the exes have managed to remain friends, even trick-or-treating with Jack and their new partners on Halloween last October. Faris has been dating 48-year-old cinematographer, Michael Barrett, since late 2017.

"We'll always have each other and be incredible friends," Faris told People of Pratt last year when their divorce was finalised. "There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is so proud of me, still. We watched each other grow, and he still cracks me up all the time. And I think I crack him up -- unless he's a really good actor and great at faking laughter.

"Chris and I are really great friends," she added. "I think that we always will be."

Meanwhile, Pratt's new fiancée Schwarzenegger has also spoken out for the first time since the engagement news broke.

"My sweet love. Wouldn't want to live this life with anyone but you," she wrote on Instagram.
