Alex Rodriguez reunites with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, calls her a 'world class mommy'
As Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck continue their rekindled romance, Alex Rodriguez has reunited with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis.
Over the weekend, Rodriguez revealed to fans he, along with Scurtis and other family and friends, had completed a 54-day fitness challenge.
"Cynthia is a world class mommy to our girls … wrapping ice though?!?!?! LOL," the retired MLB pro wrote via his Instagram Story on Saturday of Scurtis icing an apparent leg injury.

Rodriguez, 45, also shared a series photos, a few of them showing his arm around Scurtis, 48.
"54D - That's a wrap," he captioned the post. "Today I completed a nine-week journey with 22 of my classmates. I couldn't be more proud."
"Liz, Ashleigh, Amanda, JoJo, Cynthia, and Angel all crushed it, too," he added.

Rodriguez and Scurtis were married from 2002 to 2008 and share two children, daughters Natasha, 16, and Ella, 13.
The former New York Yankee and ex-fiancée Lopez officially called off their two-year engagement back in April and released a joint statement on April 15 to the US Today show.
"We have realised we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so," they said in the statement. "We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another's children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."

More than one month after their split, Rodriguez shared a cryptic post via his Instagram Story about adjusting to his single life.
"I am about to step into a new beginning in my life," he wrote. "Anything that doesn't serve me is clearing out of my life. New energy is emerging. New levels are unlocking for me mentally, physically and spiritually. I am remaining patient and know that this new phase of my life is coming."
