Alec Baldwin hits back at comment asking if his sixth child was born via surrogacy: 'Mind your own business'

Alec Baldwin has fired back at an Instagram user who took issue with the announcement of his and his wife Hilaria Baldwin's sixth child, Lucia.

The news came as a surprise to several fans, as Hilaria only gave birth to their fifth child, son Eduardo, six months prior.

"She gave birth six months ago. If it was a surrogate just say that. If the baby was adopted just say that. If the baby was a product of an affair and you've decided to raise it with your wife just say that," one person commented on Alec's post. "If you don't want to say anything — why don't you both stop constantly posting and begging for clickbait. Just raise your 100 children in private."

Alec clapped back in response, writing, "You should shut the f--k up and mind your own business."

Other users blasted the couple, claiming they're just trying to get "attention" without providing any details of their daughter's birth.

"I'm beginning to think some things are being done for attention," one person wrote. "Feeling like they like to post vague stuff just to get all kinds of comments. Who posts a new addition to a family and doesn't say s--t about it? Very weird."

"Is this a distraction from the I'm from Spain BS? What's the game?" another questioned.

The Baldwins announced the birth of their sixth child on March 1, with Hilaria sharing a photo of herself alongside all her children.

In a separate post, the yoga guru confirmed the name of her newborn daughter, Lucia, with a sweet photo of the baby girl asleep.

"We are so in love with our daughter, Lucia. Just like your brothers and sisters, you are a dream come true," she captioned her post.

A source told People that the couple welcomed Lucia via a surrogate.
