90 Day Fiancé's Big Ed announces engagement to Liz Wood: 'She's my forever'

Ed "Big Ed" Brown has finally found love!

In an interview with People, the 90 Day Fiancé breakout star, 56, confirmed his engagement to Elizabeth "Liz" Woods, 29. The pair had a whirlwind relationship on the first season of the TLC reality series 90 Day: The Single Life and ultimately split, but fans will see them rekindle their romance in Season 2.

"About a month before we got back together, I realised that I really didn't appreciate who she was and I don't want to love anybody else," Big Ed told People.

"Never in a million years did I think that I would ever be together with Liz — it's just surreal."

"I couldn't be happier," he added. "I know in my heart that she's my forever, and that's all I need to know. I don't want to be with anybody else, I don't want to think about anybody else."

The couple revealed that fans get to see how they reconnected during Season 2 of The Single Life. "You're going to have to tune in to see what happened, but it turned out to be a beautiful moment," Big Ed teased.

The pair first sparked engagement rumours back in September, when they were spotted out together at a club in California. According to TMZ, Big Ed introduced patrons to Woods as his "beautiful fiancée." She was also wearing a big diamond ring on her wedding finger.

Prior to dating Woods, Big Ed appeared on Season 4 of TLC's 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in early 2020 and was engaged to fellow star Rose Vega.

The reality star was known for the controversial way he treated Vega in the series — he kept his vasectomy a secret and asked her to get an STD test — resulting in their split and his subsequent apology.

As for Big Ed and Wood's upcoming wedding, the couple say they're not rushing into planning just yet.

"We have a lot on our plate right now, so trying to think about a wedding is really hard," Wood told People. "But we're in the works, discussing it and moving forward with our plans."
