Is this Mariah Carey's new man? Pair currently holidaying in the Caribbean

We knew it wouldn't be long before Mariah Carey got her claws into a new man after her split from Nick Cannon in December last year.

And well, it looks like TheFIX was right. The original diva is reportedly dating her long-term friend (now turned lover) Brett Ratner.

Brett, a big time LA director, gave Mariah, 45, a shoulder to cry on after Nick, 34, called quits on their marriage and finally filed for divorce at the end of January.

"Their relationship has progressed in recent weeks and is now very serious," an insider told Radar. "They’re a hot couple."

The pair have been friends for over two decades, with Brett directing many of Mariah's big hits, including 'Heartbreaker' and 'Obsessed'.

But that all changed when they flew to St Barts for a joint birthday celebration as they were born just a day apart.

They stayed on the $70 million super-yacht, Ultima II, which features eight staterooms and a Jacuzzi. Fancy!
