Cat shocks owner by coming home for the night with a plastic bag full of drugs

We’ve all heard of sniffer dogs, but it seems as though cats also have a nose for crime.

Because a cat has been praised for discovering a bag of “class A” drugs in the UK.

The cat, whose identity has been kept secret, has been hailed a hero for the unexpected drug sting.

A photo of the cat’s seized illicit material was posted to Twitter by the Ashley Police Team in Bristol.

Of course, the coppers had a bit of fun with this one.

“Look what the cat dragged in,” they said.

“Great result in St Paul's when a resident's cat brought this in during the night.

“The owner got a bit of a shock but called us straight away.”

According to reports, the cat brought the bag of drugs into bed and was curled up next to it.

A report from Krishan Davis at Bristol Live indicated the drugs were likely to be crack cocaine and heroin, worth hundreds of dollars.

Meanwhile, a great-grandfather from Ireland has also become an unexpected crime fighter, fending off three armed robbers.
