VIDEO: The uncomfortable moment magic act goes wrong on live television

Britain's Got Talent contestant's trick will make you believe in magic

Everybody makes mistakes from time to time.

These mistakes can range from writing "wonce" instead of "once" to foolishly choosing to study a degree priming you for work in a dying industry.

Thankfully you can correct these errors with a simple backspace, or having an extended quarter-life crisis before dramatically changing careers.

And people seem relatively understanding of your blunders.

But when you're on live TV doing a magic trick, people tend to be less forgiving.

This is what we've learned from the Britain's Got Talent finale, when mathematically-based magic act DNA had a little boo boo.

Darren – presumably the "D" part of "DNA" - had judge David Walliams pick a random page of a book.

Daz went through the rigmarole of guessing what that page number was… and his guess was incorrect.

Awks.

People got a little snarky about it on the Twitters:

But look, it's close enough right?

Give the guy a break.

We mean, a three is really just an eight with all the open ends closed up.

Seriously, what more do you bloody want?

And he got "lady" right.

You're all too well-fed, that's your bloody problem.
