Woman with 'deformed' stomach seeks help from Botched doctors after it ended her marriage of 17 years
Maritza's traumatic tummy tuck ended her marriage.
The 49-year-old went into the surgery excited about the results she was about to see, but what happened next caused a domino effect.
After many surgeries and complications, the 49-year-old was left with a "Frankenstein" stomach that she believed was "deformed" without a belly button.

Martiza admitted that her marriage of 17 years was in shambles after the surgery. Her marriage finally ended a year following her first procedure.
"My plastic surgery in Mexico didn't just destroy my stomach, it destroyed my marriage," Maritza explained.
"My husband felt like it was my own fault for wanting this surgery."
Finally ready to kick off her single life, Maritza turned to the Botched doctors, Dr. Paul Nassif and Dr. Terry Dubrow, which you can watch for free on 9Now, to help fix it.

During the consultation, Maritza explained that her previous doctor performed liposuction on her abdomen before the tummy tuck, which Dubrow called "the classic F up".
Maritza's skin turned black after the first procedure and later received a skin graft due to her severe stomach indentation, but she lost her belly button along the way.

"When I hear that kind of story, it makes me think the surgeon cut it out and didn't realize it and he's making excuses," Dubrow told the camera.
"Creating a belly button is one of the most difficult things to do in all of plastic surgery."

Despite the high risk complications involved in the surgery, Maritza was more than ready to go back under the knife.
After a successful surgery, the 49-year-old was nervous when it came time for the big reveal due to her past traumatic experiences. But once her nerves eased and her bandaged stomach unravelled, she was ecstatic with the results.

"I feel liberated! I have a complete body. I'm whole again," she cheered.
She was also pleasantly surprised to see the return of her belly button.
"I'm completely in love with my belly button that Dr. Dubrow created," Maritza concluded.
