Unmanned boat cops an absolute beating after drifting into massive swell
Next time you get spectacularly dumped – either by waves or a shaggy-haired dreamboat – come back to this video.
Because it’s just a spectacular smack down that it’s practically impossible to witness much worse.
It’s an unmanned boat which drifted into some heavy, heavy surf off the coast of Sumatra’s Nias Island in Indonesia.
And things did not go well for the little fella.

As we read in a report from Ashtyn Douglas for SURFER, it had been extremely rough out on the water that day.
SURFER photographer Ryan Craig said it was “some of the craziest energy I’ve ever seen in person”.
“This morning when we woke up, a lot of people were tripping out that they (whoever owns the boat) didn’t move it because the swell is supposed to grow,” he told SURFER.
“Eventually, around mid-morning, it lost its anchor or whatever and started drifting into the lineup.
“Everyone started paddling away with some determination to get anywhere they could other than where the impact zone was, because if a bigger set came and everyone got caught inside there would’ve been a really bad situation.”

According to fellow photographer Ted Grambeau no one was hurt.
But, but the looks of it, that boat wouldn’t doing all that crash hot.
A whole bunch of vision of the boat is now going nuts on social media, with one particular repost of Jack Germain’s video clocking up more than half a million views on Kook of the Day.
Cowabunga, dude.
