Thieves completely destroy servo shopfront while trying to rip out an ATM
Okay, so this might be the least subtle theft we’ve ever seen.
Two dingbats have been caught in security footage using a ute to rip an ATM out of a servo shop in Shellbrook, Canada.
CCTV cameras caught one offender attaching a strap around the ATM while their mate drove off in a ute.

The ATM ripped through the shop wall, leaving what was described as a “path of destruction” in its wake.

The servo owner Kerby Tang told Global News journo Adam MacVicar the robbery dislodged one of the walls by as much as 35cm, with the ATM destroying everything in its path.
“From all the fixtures, to the coffee island, to the front door,” Tang said.

The identity of the offenders is not yet known, however the ute has been identified as a vehicle stolen from a nearby dealership.
Police later found both the ute and the ATM, which had been emptied of its cash.
It’s estimated there was up to $2000 in the machine.
