Assistance dogs graduate with full marks for cuteness

Graduation ceremonies that celebrate human babies finishing preschool are not okay. (Parents: stop doing this, and especially please stop putting the photos on Facebook.) But graduation ceremonies that celebrate dog babies finishing puppy school are totally, definitely, absolutely okay.

Six assistance dogs-to-be have celebrated the end of their two years’ training at a ceremony in Martin Place, Sydney hosted by Assistance Dogs Australia, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.

The super puppers will now be handed over to the owners they’ve been carefully matched with.

Several human guests were present at the ceremony, but it’s fair to say they were all overshadowed by the graduating dogs and by the still-in-training puppies.
