Exclusive: Lisa McCune on why she 'could not stop crying' ahead of her return as narrator for all-new Big Miracles
EXCLUSIVE: Australian actor Lisa McCune is feeling a lot of things ahead of the brand new season of Big Miracles.
"Overwhelmed" is one of them.
The groundbreaking series follows the intimate and powerful journey of Aussie couples and individuals navigating the raw and emotional road of trying to start a family – through IVF and other fertility treatments.
McCune, 53, may be the "voice in the background" as narrator of the hit doco-style series, but it's a role that admittedly, has touched her deeply.
Watch the new season of Big Miracles from Wednesday February 5 at 9:00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
"It's overwhelming at times," McCune told 9Entertainment.
"As I'm talking towards the end of the season when we see the people we've met and we hear their stories, I literally... I could not stop crying."

"It's an absolute credit to them. I don't think I could share such a personal story like that, so I really take my hat off to them," she shared.
McCune, who is mum to three kids, was fortunate enough not to go down the road of IVF when it came to falling pregnant. But as a mother, to some extent, she could certainly relate.
"Being pregnant and trying for children, you go into a bubble and it's everything," she said of the emotional and consuming journey that some may face.

"There's one couple who's been trying for a couple of seasons now, Ilina and Nick, they have so much love to give and I watch it for their journey," McCune revealed.
"Ilina is remarkable and the pain she's enduring, it's absolutely everything for her," she sympathised.
