Millions of Australians are currently enduring a cost of living crisis - but the top 50 richest Australians are getting richer every year.
New data from the 2024 Forbes rich list has revealed who continues to grow their fortune.

9. John, Alan (pictured) and Bruce Wilson - $6.6 billion
Alan Wilson, along with John and Bruce Wilson's combined estimated wealth is $6.6 billion.
Alan Wilson started his own hardware store at 20 years old, before joining Reece in 1969.
Now mostly owned by Wilson and his family, Reece is the largest supplier of plumbing and bathroom goods in Australia.
8. Cliff Obrecht and Melanie Perkins - $8.5 billion
Canva co-founders Cliff Obrecht and Melanie Perkins are eighth on the list with an estimated $8.5 billion.
The company which makes graphic design software was founded in 2013, and has an estimated value of $26 billion.
7. Bianca Rinehart and siblings - $8.5 billion
Bianca Rinehart is the eldest daughter of Australian mining magnate Gina Rinehart and is a trustee of the Hope Margaret Hancock Trust.
The family has made their fortune in mining, primarily in the privately owned mining company Hancock Prospecting, founded by her father Lang Hancock.
Since then the value of the company has exploded, thanks in large part to high commodity prices.
6. Anthony Pratt - $10.3 billion
So-called "cardboard king" Anthony Pratt placed sixth on the list with an estimated wealth of $10.3 billion.
Pratt and his family own Visy Industries, a paper, packaging and recycling company.
4. Mike Cannon-Brookes - $13.7 billion
Mike Cannon-Brookes came slightly ahead of his Atlassian co-founder, landing at fourth on the list with an estimated wealth of $13.7 billion.
He is well known for his investments in the renewable energy sector.
1. Gina Rinehart - $US 30.2 billion
Gina Rinehart has kept the top spot on the rich list once again.
The mining magnate has an estimated $30.2 billion.
Her wealth derives from the privately owned mining company Hancock Prospecting, founded by her father Lang Hancock.
Since then the value of the company has exploded, thanks in large part to the moving prices of commodities.
