Man lights firecrackers taped to his lips

It goes without saying, but: don't try this stunt at home.

A viral video depicts Damon Reynolds, a member of the amateur stunt crew S---- Stunts, taping five firecrackers to his face and lighting them.

Miraculously, he isn't hurt in the ensuing explosions, though he does declare that the stunt was "a bad idea" — something that most people know without having to try it for themselves.

The video was originally posted to YouTube in March 2012 but is only now going viral, after it was posted to Reddit with the headline "Darwin Award nominee" — a reference to the tongue-in-cheek awards that "honour" people who have killed or injured themselves via their own foolish actions.

On their YouTube page, the S---- crew describes themselves as "the most outrageous stunt group to date".
