Two killed in crash in Sydney's south-west

A second person has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney's south-west last night.

A 75-year-old woman was killed after an SUV travelling on King Georges Road in South Hurstville crashed into a wall at about 9.30pm.

The 86-year-old male driver was treated at the scene and taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition. He died in hospital this afternoon.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Traffic was disrupted at the time of the crash, however has now returned to normal.
