Woman found dead in Canberra apartment

Police are questioning a man over the suspicious death of a woman in a Canberra apartment this morning.

Authorities were called to the apartment on Eastlake Parade on the Kingston Foreshore at about 1.50am (AEDT) on Friday and found the body of the 29-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man.

No charges have yet been laid.

Police hope anyone who heard or saw something out of the ordinary on Eastlake Parade around 1.30am will come forward.
