Woman dies after fire breaks out in unit on Sydney's north shore
Paramedics were unable to revive a woman pulled from a fire that broke out in a unit at a Cremorne apartment building, on Sydney's lower north shore, this morning.
Emergency first responders arrived at the home on Allister Street at around 7am.
Firefighters pulled a woman from the unit before paramedics attempted to perform CPR on her.

However, the woman died at the scene, NSW Police said.
The woman is yet to be formally identified; however, is believed to be aged in her 60s.
The fire was extinguished shortly after.

Emergency workers arrived at the units around 7am this morning. Nine
Officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command have established a crime scene and detectives have commenced an investigation into the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
