Life on Australia's cotton farms captured in stunning photographs
The winners have been announced for Cotton Australia's Click 24 photography awards, showcasing the best of Australia's cotton farms and farmers.
Judges looked through over 300 submissions and picked the best ones, including a few wildcard winners, which will be displayed at the Cotton Australia stand during the Australian Cotton Conference.
There were three categories to submit under: people, paddock and planet.

First place winner: Kieran Shepherd
Kieran Shepherd from Narrabri, NSW, submitted the winning picture, captioned: "Farm supervisors Tess and Ellie over-seeing picking."
Runner up: Belinda Dimarzio-Ryan
This picture by Belinda Dimarzio-Ryan from Warren, NSW, was the runner-up.
The image is called: "Find a bale, climb the bale, chill on the bale. Kids will be kids!"
Cotton Australia said a large part of the competition revolved around pride, hard work and family.
"The Click 24 photography competition encourages entrants to take unique photographs that showcase their experiences and dispel myths surrounding cotton production, community life, innovation, and the growers themselves," a spokesman for the competition said.
Winner, paddock category: Jean-Baptiste Copin
Jean-Baptiste Copin won the paddock category with this picture of "a busy round paddock" in Hillston, NSW.
Winner, people category: Michelle Hutchinson
Michelle Hutchinson from Moura, Queensland, won the people category with this image she titled: "Performance ready cotton".
Winner, planet category: Brodie Ryan Cronau
Brodie Ryan Cronau from Brookstead, Queensland, won the planet category for this picture of the sunset over a cotton field after the first crop water.
Winner, wildcard: Annabelle Rogan
Annabelle Rogan from Queensland's St George region was the wildcard winner with this photo of her dog on her family cotton farm.
"Despite being at boarding school for the past six years, I was lucky enough to grow up on our family cotton farm in St George," she said.
"School holidays, and the long-awaited trip back to the gum trees (and cotton bolls) never come too soon."
Submission, wildcard: Jasmin Morrison
Barley farmer and photographer Jasmin Morrison from Moree in NSW is surrounded by cotton fields.
She took this photo to display in her son's room and decided to enter the photo in the competition afterwards.
"Where we are situated we are surrounded by cotton fields, we watch it every year as it comes up," she told 9news.com.au.
"We've lived out here for our entire lives, being able to watch every type of crop come up is pretty incredible, and I think a lot of people take that for granted.
"I love showing other people what it's like living rural because a lot of people don't get this opportunity."
Although the image wasn't picked as a winner, it's a wildcard entry in the People's Choice Award, which will be picked at the Australian Cotton Conference in August.

Cate Wild from Goondiwindi in Queensland submitted this photo showing the intricate growth of a cotton boll for the paddock category.
