Police have reportedly charged Western Sydney Wanderers striker Kerem Bulut with intimidation following an incident at a western Sydney McDonald's.

It is understood Bulut, 23, was with friends at the Auburn restaurant at 7.30pm last night when staff asked them to leave, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

The store manager was allegedly asked to take the argument to the car park.

Bulut presented himself to Auburn police station at 4pm this afternoon, where he was charged with one count of intimidation and given conditional bail.

He is set to appear at Burwood Local Court on April 7.

Bulut was charged just hours before the A-League game between the Wanderers and Melbourne City FC, which the Wanderers won 3-2, just their second win in 19 matches.
