Woman dead, man in hospital after car and truck crash in Melbourne
A woman has died and a man is in hospital following a collision between a car and a truck on Melbourne's West Gate Freeway.
Police said it is understood a car and truck collided on the exit ramp from the freeway at about 11.35am.
The female passenger of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

The male driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Police said the truck driver was not physically injured during the crash.

The Kings Way citybound exit was closed with detours in place.
