Cylinder falls from NSW man’s buttocks after arrest

A NSW man suspected of robbing his neighbour's shed was taken to a police station where a cylindrical container fell from his buttocks during a search.

The 35-year-old was arrested by police in Wagga Wagga after he was allegedly seen removing items from his neighbour's garden shed at 2.40am yesterday.

The neighbour, a 62-year-old woman, confronted the man and he quickly ran from the scene, leaving a bag of stolen goods behind.

When the man was arrested officers found a 50cm machete strapped to his body.

Police later found a cylindrical container filled with green vegetable matter fell that fell from between the suspect's buttocks cheeks.

The man allegedly told officers that he didn't know how the item got there.

"It must be my mates," the man said.

The 35-year-old is due to front Wagga Local Court on July 16.
