Woman to face trial over Perth murder

A woman accused of fatally attacking a 57-year-old man she knew at a home in up-market Perth is fighting her murder charge.

Sarah Daebritz, 46, was initially charged with grievous bodily harm with intent over injuries inflicted on Matthew Syon Sadka at a Claremont residence on March 12.

He died in hospital three days later and she had her charge upgraded.

Daebritz pleaded not guilty when she appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court via video link from Bandyup prison on Wednesday.

She will make her first appearance in the West Australian Supreme Court on September 16.
