WA to seek federal funding for projects
AAP
West Australian Premier Colin Barnett plans to talk to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in person about GST distribution and shared funding for road and public transport projects.
Mr Barnett told reporters on Tuesday he had already spoken to Mr Turnbull on the phone and expected a review of some policies under the new prime minister.
"I think the public in Western Australia is quite rightly wanting to see more investment in public transport," Mr Barnett said.

"We're about to start the Forrestfield airport link, that is important, but there's clearly a need for more public transport in the city itself and the surrounding inner city suburbs."
