WA public school students win top honours

Public school students have been awarded Western Australia's top two secondary education honours.
The Beazley Medal for the WA Certificate of Education was given to Hui Min Tay from Perth Modern School, while the Beazley Medal for Vocational Educational Training was won by Megan McSeveney from the WA College of Agriculture in Harvey.
Perth Modern School had the highest number of award winners with 79 students, followed by Rossmoyne Senior High School at 41 and St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls with 40.
