WA mine worker dies in truck rollover

A mine worker has died after a truck rolled over in Western Australia.
Police were called on Sunday afternoon to China Hanking Holdings Ltd's Southern Cross project, about 360km east of Perth, where they found the worker unresponsive.
A Department of Mines and Petroleum spokesman said there were no other vehicles involved in the incident, which occurred at the Cornishman open pit.

First aid was administered on site and the man was then taken to the local hospital, but he could not be revived.
Department officials are at the mine and investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
Information they gather will be used in a police report for the coroner.
