WA man dies after pub fight assault

A 56-year-old man has died after suffering severe head injuries during a bar fight in Western Australia's South West region.
The man had been in a critical condition at Royal Perth Hospital since the assault on July 14.
A 24-year-old Kirup man has been charged with intending to cause grievous bodily harm and criminal damage, but police say charges may be upgraded following a post-mortem.
