WA man charged with mother's murder

A 61-year-old Perth man has been charged with the murder of an 81-year-old woman, who is believed to be his mother.
Police and St John Ambulance officers were called to the Whitehaven Crescent home in Balga just before 6.30pm on Tuesday.
The woman had suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
