A 30-year-old Perth man has been charged after allegedly threatening a woman with a knife and forcing her into his car while she was walking towards a train station.

Police said the 30-year-old victim was walking along Knock Place in Jandakot, towards the Cockburn Central train station at 7pm on Tuesday when the man in a silver Holden Commodore pulled up beside her.

He exited the vehicle and threatened the woman with a knife, and managed to get her into the passenger side of the vehicle, police said.
