WA gunman guilty of murdering ex-partner

A man has been convicted of fatally shooting the mother of his two children in the car park of a drug associate's apartment in West Perth.
Darren Kale Walters had been on trial in the Supreme Court of WA charged with murdering Leah Anne Appleton on August 2 last year.
The jury delivered a guilty verdict late on Monday and Walters will face a sentencing hearing on February 15.
