WA boy hit by ute still serious but stable

A three-year-old boy remains in a serious but stable condition after he was hit by a ute while trying to cross a road in Western Australia's mid west region.
The boy was struck by the ute, which travelling at low speed, on Saturday morning in Geraldton before being flown to Perth's Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
The 50-year-old driver of the ute assisted police with their investigation.
