Two men charged over WA hotel fire

Two men have been charged over a fire at the historical Premier Hotel in Albany, on WA's south coast, which caused about $2 million worth of damage.

Police say the men, aged 29 and 30, entered the 130-year-old hotel just after midnight on May 13 and set fire to it, knowing guests were staying there at the time.

They have both been charged with criminal damage by fire and endangering the life, health or safety of a person.

Police also said on Friday two other men, both aged 34, had been taken into custody and were being questioned.
