Two die on Perth roads on New Year's Day

Two people have died in separate crashes on Perth roads on New Year's Day.
A 21-year-old man was allegedly speeding on his motorcycle when he crashed into a car on Roe Highway in Canning Vale about 4.30pm on Sunday.
He was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene, police say.

In a separate incident, a 25-year-old man died after crashing his utility into two cars and a wooden power pole, causing it to snap, just after 5pm on Warwick Road in Duncraig.
The man died at the scene, while his two passengers, a 22-year-old woman and 29-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.
Police are investigating both crashes and are seeking witnesses.
