Top 10 riskiest roads in Perth revealed
Western Australia's road toll in 2024 was one of the highest in decades.
Now, the Royal Automobile Club WA have named the riskiest roads and intersections in Perth, after a survey of more than 18,000 drivers.
The results highlight the roads that need the most work.

10. Hopeland Road, Hopeland to Nambeelup
Hopeland Road made the Top 10 due to hazardous roadside trees and poor road surface quality.
9. Neaves Road from Banksia Grove to Bullsbrook
Drivers on Neaves Road complained about a lack of overtaking opportunities, poor road surface quality and poor lighting.
8. Farrington Road, North Lake to Murdoch
Farrington Road from North Lake to Murdoch made the list due to a confusing layout and poor road lighting.
7. Rowley Road, Banjup to Hilbert
Rowley Road from Banjup to Hilbert came in at number seven due to poor road surface quality.
6. Hampton Road, Beaconsfield
Hampton Road in Beaconsfield is in sixth place.
Drivers mentioned speeding drivers in the area and the need for a roundabout.
5. Mason Road, Kwinana Beach
Mason Road at Kwinana Beach came in at number five.
Drivers complained about the road's poorly timed traffic light system and the lack of opportunity to turn and cross traffic.
4. Kwinana Freeway, Como
A confusing layout and confusing signage put the Kwinana Freeway at Como in fourth place.
3. Guildford Road, Mt Lawley to Bayswater
A strip of Guildford Road between Mt Lawley and Bayswater came in at number three.
Drivers raised concerns about an unsafe pedestrian crossing, the lack of a median strip and little chance to turn and cross traffic.
2. Archer Street, Carlisle
Archer Street in Carlisle was second on the list.
The street lacks a median strip which drivers believe is unsafe for pedestrians.
