Teen faces court over child exploitation

A 19-year-old man has appeared in a Perth court accused of using social media to communicate sexually with a girl he believed was 12 years old.

James Michael Campbell appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with four counts of using electronic communication with intent to procure a child to engage in sexual activity.

He was not required to enter a plea and is due back in court on July 20.
